The Piasa earrings are handcrafted from tiny anodized aluminum scales and attached with stainless steel for durability. These are extremely lightweight! Featuring shiny vibrant shades of bright pink, rich purple, and royal blue. Finished with surgical grade stainless steel ear hooks, these measure approximately 2.25″ from the top curve of the ear hook where it sits in the ear.
The Piasa is a Native American dragon depicted in murals painted on bluffs above the Mississippi River. This fearsome creature was said to reign over the skies, and was sometimes described as a large beast with horns, red eyes, a bearded face, scales, and a fish-like tail.
